The Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express is designed for those who frequently stay at Starwood hotels and resorts. Through the reward program, you'll earn one point per dollar spent on the card and double points at participating Starwood properties and retail outlets. You'll also earn one additional point per $1 spent on qualified purchases through the Starwood Preferred Guest® loyalty program. You'll receive 10,000 bonus points after your first purchase, which is enough for up to 3 free nights and 15,000 Bonus Starpoints® after spending $15,000 In 6 months. You can even transfer points to a variety of frequent flyer programs. The interest rate for purchases is above average, but there is a low introductory rate on purchases and balance transfers for the first six months, and the low annual fee is waived for the first year. You'll also receive various discounts, benefits, and services.
