The Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express is designed for those who frequently fly on Delta Airlines. You will earn two miles per dollar spent at Delta Airlines and participating vendors, and you will earn one mile per dollar everywhere else. Plus, 20,000 bonus miles are awarded after your first purchase. Miles don't expire as long as your account is active within a three-year period. Cardholders will also have access to the exclusive Pay with Miles benefit. Through Pay with Miles, cardholders can pay for a portion or all of their airfare with miles and put any remainder of miles back on the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card. Start redeeming Pay with Miles at 10,000 miles. The annual fee of $95 is waived the first year, but the purchase APR is above average and not optimal if you plan to carry a balance. However, platinum card benefits and services are provided for all who qualify for this great travel credit card.
